Kratka predstavitev
Prof. Rye je mednarodno priznan strokovnjak s področja prometne politike z več kot 25-letnimi izkušnjami v akademskem in praktičnem delu. Ima posebna znanja s področja usposabljanja in evalvacije mednarodnih prometnih politik. Veliko objavlja v mednarodnih revijah o temah, ki vključujejo upravljanje mobilnosti za velike zaposlovalce, upravljanje parkiranja, cenitev koncesij, javni prevoz, tovorni promet ter integracijo prostorskega in prometnega načrtovanja. Na teh področjih je delal za različne naročnike, vključno s škotsko vlado in vlado Velike Britanije, Evropsko komisijo in Svetovno banko. Vodil je tudi dva raziskovalna inštituta, vključno s švedskim Nacionalnim centrom za raziskave in Centrom znanja na področju javnega prevoza.
